Conference Summary
This essential conference brings together an international community of scientists to present cutting-edge, unpublished research in the field of protein phosphorylation.
For over 40 years, this widely attended meeting has explored how reversible phosphorylation regulates cellular processes, how dysregulation contributes to disease, and how this knowledge is being translated into therapeutic innovation. With deregulation of kinases common in disease, research presented at this meeting has contributed to several important discoveries. Numerous kinase-targeting drugs have been developed thanks to research presented at this conference, with more kinase inhibitors currently in development.
This year’s session topics will range from the structural mechanics of kinases and unconventional signaling pathways to chemical biology innovations, metabolic regulation, cancer therapeutics, and disease mechanisms. Aimed at supporting early-career researchers, the agenda will facilitate networking, collaborations, panel discussions, mentoring, and more.
Attendees will learn about:
· The structural and biochemical mechanisms that govern protein kinase activity, including how architecture, regulation, and dynamics drive signaling pathways and therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Workshops
The Meet the Experts session will provide early-career investigators the opportunity to discuss integrating structural biology, metabolism, oncology, and chemical biology into their research, along with perspectives from senior scientists.
A series of Career Development Workshops will emphasize mentoring, career development, and informal scientific exchange, encouraging strong connections and professional growth.
