Lung Epithelium in Health and Disease

For over 25 years, this conference has been the premier venue for the latest research in lung development, homeostasis, aging, injury response, and regeneration. This year’s program will focus on new findings within a broad range of research in molecular and cellular biology, lung development, stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, and diseases such as bronchopulmonary dysplasia, COPD, and IPF.

The sessions are designed to promote interactions between early-career investigators and recognized leaders in the field, encouraging the next generation of lung biology. 

Attendees will learn about:

· Newly-discovered pathobiological mechanisms that are important to the onset and progression of lung diseases.

A Meet the Experts session will pair early-career researchers with senior investigators to discuss career and scientific issues faced by today’s scientists. 

A series of Career Development Workshops will feature panels discussing topics such as grant applications, mentor/mentee dynamics, and developing technical expertise.
