Ferroptosis, Oxidative Stress, and Lipid Metabolism

This brand-new conference will explore all aspects of the biology associated with ferroptosis, a new form of cell death that results from iron accumulation and lipid peroxidation.  

The major themes of this meeting include cellular redox biology, iron storage, lipid metabolism, organelle cell biology, and the roles and potential for therapeutic targeting of ferroptosis in disease, particularly cancer and neurodegeneration. 

Attendees will have a variety of opportunities to network with emerging and established leaders in these important and unique fields. Researchers from historically excluded groups are especially encouraged to attend.
