Cell Cycle Regulation in Health and Disease

This new conference will focus on mechanisms of cell cycle regulation and their role in the etiology and treatment of human disease. Precise cell cycle regulation is essential for growth, development, and maintaining healthy tissues. When this process goes wrong, it can lead to serious conditions, including infertility, birth defects, cancer, and other life-threatening diseases. Advances in state-of-the-art genetic modeling, imaging, and new computational approaches have enabled more precise and quantitative studies. These discoveries are already helping to develop new, more effective treatments for diseases via cell cycle-targeted therapies.

This year’s inaugural program will provide a multi-disciplinary forum for attendees to present, discuss, and learn about the latest advances in the field. It will include an outstanding, multidisciplinary group of scientists from academia and industry at the forefront of cell cycle research. Sessions will feature new and unpublished work on a variety of related topics, such as quiescence, development, therapeutics, genome stability, and cell size control.
