Conference Summary

Building on the success of its inaugural 2024 meeting, this conference will bring together a growing and dynamic community focused on the emerging field of cell communication. This area builds on traditional signal transduction research by examining how information is encoded, transmitted, and interpreted across space and time. The meeting will move beyond traditional pathway diagrams toward a quantitative, spatiotemporal understanding of how signaling dynamics encode and process information in living systems.

This year's program will highlight recent advances in signaling dynamics and the quantitative principles that govern how cells process information. The research presented will define what distinguishes “normal” from “diseased” signaling behaviors in their temporal and spatial features. The sessions will foster cross-disciplinary exchange of conceptual frameworks across diverse systems, including immune signaling, receptor-mediated pathways, gene regulation, the cell cycle, and metabolism. Attendees will return to their labs with a concrete understanding of the cutting-edge imaging, image analysis, and computational modeling approaches that are transforming the field.

Attendees will learn about:

· How dynamic signaling patterns encode information to control cell fate and behavior.

· Time-resolved strategies to reveal pathway architecture, feedback, and decision-making logic.

· Experimental and synthetic approaches to precisely perturb and control signaling in living systems.
