Conference Summary
For over 30 years, this conference has covered topics relating to DNA, RNA, protein methylation, and the role these epigenetic and post-translational modifications have in development, disease, and cancer. It will bring together leading experts and early-career investigators across biology, development, and disease.
This year’s program will highlight fundamental discoveries and emerging therapeutic applications, especially in cancer research. This includes studies involving epigenetics, chromatin structure, RNA biology, and enzymatic methylation mechanisms, which include new small-molecule inhibitors and technology platforms. Sessions will facilitate an environment that bridges basic research with clinical relevance, while actively supporting the next generation of scientists through innovative engagement.

An interactive Career Development Workshop will facilitate informal, small-group discussions between trainees and established leaders in the field of biological methylation.
